What promises to be the first 4G Blackberry ever looks set to be released later this year.

It’s not yet known if the 4G Blackberry will be exclusive to a single carrier or whether it’ll be available as an unlocked 4G phone but the probable release date is June. Features of the 4G Blackberry – which may go on sale under the name Blackberry Triton – are likely to include:

Front-facing camera for Video Chat
5 Megapixel Camera with HD Recording
Multi-Touch Navigation
Direct access to Blackberry App World

The look and functionality of the new phone will be similar to the already available Blackberry Storm.
