AT&T 4G BlackBerry Launch Date
Motorola, Samsung, LG and HTC have all been in the 4G phone market for quite a while – now it’s the turn of RIM to launch what will be the first BlackBerry 4G phone.
AT&T have confirmed the launch on August 21st of the new BlackBerry Torch 9810 which will be a major upgrade from previous versions of the Torch in terms of screen resolutions and mobile web download and uploads speeds.
The new QWERTY phone will run on AT&Ts HSPA+ 4G network and be powered by the BlackBerry 7 operating system and a fast 1.2 GHz processor. The 9810 will have a 3.2 inch touchscreen display, 8GB of memory – expandable up to 32GB with a microSD card, and a 5 megapixel camera with HD video capture.
After rebates the official AT&T price for the new BlackBerry 4G phone will be $49.99.
* Pre-ordering hasn’t started yet but there are some neat 9810 accessories starting to show up.
