With the success of the latest Sprint 4G phones the carrier is dropping some earlier 4G phones from its line up. The outgoing phones, which have been branded as “end of life”, will not have their stocks replenished at Sprint stores or on online stores. When they’re gone, they’re gone.

Phone models going include the classic EVO 4G – the very first 4G phone. Sprint’s second handset, the Samsung Epic 4G, is also going.

Other phones about to disappear include the Motorola i1 walkie-talkie phone, the QWERTY, Android Samsung Transform and the Blackberry Style 9670 and Blackberry Bold 9650 (with rear camera).

If you want to get your hands on any of the above models best to buy when you see them on sale because stocks will run out soon.

So what is replacing the EVO 4G and Samsung Epic 4G in the Sprint phone selection? Current massive sellers for the carrier include the EVO 3D – a powerful phone that also comes with 3D imaging and video features, and the Motorola Photon 4G – the dual-core global 4G phone with the distinctive sharp corners look.
