HTC Radar 4G – First Windows 4G Phone

It’s been a long wait but the first Windows 4G phone is here.

The HTC Radar 4G for T-Mobile comes with the latest Windows Phone 7 operating system (codenamed Mango), a 3.8-inch LCD screen (480 x 800 resolution) with virtual keyboard. Compared to the more usual 4.3 or even 4.5 inch displays that are becoming the norm, it’s good to see HTC acknowledging that many users prefer smaller displays for ease of handling the phone and better battery life (all that screen space needs power from somewhere…).

Other Radar specs include a 1GHz Snapdragon processor under the hood, 5-megapixel camera with dedicated camera button, HD capture at 720p and a front facing camera to get video chatting.

In terms of memory there’s 8GB internal storage (expandable by microSD card) and 512MB RAM.

The Radar 4G, of course, also supports the T-Mobile 4G network.
