LG Esteem Launches on MetroPCS 4G

Pre-paid phone carrier MetroPCS has just added another 4G phone to its lineup, making a total of three – the Samsung Craft, the Samsung Indulge and now the new LG Esteem.

The LG Esteem is kitted out with a large 4.3-inch (800×480) display, 1GHz processor, 8GB of internal memory and Android 2.3. The main camera on the rear is a 5-megapixel shooter with HD at 720p with a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera.

The Esteem is priced lower than the Samsung Indulge at $249.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate. MetroPCS is offering a choice of either a $50 or $60 4G data plan with the new phone, the $50 version coming with 90 days free use of Rhapsody Unlimited Music and the $60 including the unlimited Rhapsody plan or the MetroSTUDIO video on demand service.

Both plans include unlimited talk, text and web use.
