LG Revolution for Verizon

LG Revolution for Verizon

LG Revolution for Verizon

Pros: Fast 4G phone with Netflix and good camera & battery life

Cons: Phone design is classy but doesn’t excite

Bottom Line: Great 4G phone for the price ($0.01 from Amazon) but if you have $129 go for the Samsung DROID Charge

Billed by Verizon as an “entertainment powerhouse”, the LG Revolution is a great 4G phone in many ways, not least because it’s the first Android phone that comes preloaded with Netflix, for mobile access to movies and TV shows.

But the LG Revolution does more than just play HD videos on the 4.3 inch touchscreen, it can also create HD movies and once captured, those videos can be instantly shared with HDMI capable displays for the big screen experience.

Built-in Image Editor
Photos can be edited on the phone using the included image editor which allows you to crop, rotate and resize your photos as well as add creative filters to your creations. Don’t be fooled by the low megapixel count – the images from the 5 megapixel camera are crisp and sharp, thanks to a good lens and digtal sensor.

Mobile Hotspot
LG have packed a number of great features in the Revolution like the mobile hotspot for sharing your lightning fast Verizon 4G connection with up to 8 other devices. When you’re in 3G only coverage areas you can still connection share with 5 devices – a handy feature that’s not available with every 4G phone.

The LG Revolution is powered by Android 2.2 (with OTA upgrades available later) and a 1GHz Snapdragon processor – the same as found on the Verizon Thunderbolt.

Best Price
Currently the best LG Revolution is $0.01 from Amazon Wireless.
