Motorola ATRIX 2 Launched for AT&T – Dual-Core and More

Everyone loves a good sequel and the follow up to the Motorola ATRIX – the ATRIX 2 – has just hit the stores with a larger screen with better display technology than the original.

Sporting a 4.3 inch qHD display rather than the 4 inches, the main camera also gets an upgrade from 5 megapixels to 8 with 1080p HD capture. There’s also a front camera for video chats and easy self-portraits.

Hardware? A dual-core 1GHz processor with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of onboard storage which is expandable with a microSD card up to 40GB.

Like the original, the ATRIX 2 can be connected to an external monitor via the optional Motorola Webtop Laptop or HD docking station to share music and videos on a larger screen as well as surf the web with a full version of Firefox.

AT&T price is $99.99 with Amazon already knocking that down to $49.99.
