Full DROID RAZR Specs

The Motorola DROID RAZR has finally been officially announced by Motorola and Verizon – and it’ll be the thinnest smartphone ever, just 7.1mm thick.

Other specs include 4.3 inch qHD Super AMOLED Advanced display, 8 megapixel camera with 1080p video capture, dual-core 12.GHz processor and Android 2.3.5.

One of the main benefits that Verizon & Motorola have been highlighting is the battery life. The DROID RAZR 1800mAh battery powers up to 12.5 hours of talk time and 8.9 hours of continuous video playback.

But it’s not just under the hood that Motorola engineers have been working hard on – the design is pretty cool too. There’s a stainless steel core to the phone case, splash guard on the front with Gorilla Glass and the casing will feature diamond-cut aluminum accents.

In terms of software and apps, we’ll get Android 2.3.5 out of the box and two never seen before apps. The first, called MotoCast, lets you streaming, download and sync images, music, video and other files between your PC and RAZR. The second, Smart Actions, is designed to optimize battery life even further by letting you setup a number of power-saving rules.

On top of great hardware and design, it’s also going to be a 4G LTE phone – zipping along that Verizon 4G highway. So what we’re looking at is the thinest 4G phone ever, with probably the best battery life ever. This should be good!
