T-Mobile 4G Coverage Increases to 170 Markets

T-Mobile has just increased the number of 4G coverage areas in its network by 3 making it now available in 170 markets across the U.S.

The new T-Mobile 4G coverage areas are Fort Myers in Florida, Pueblo in Colorado and Wilkes Barre-Scranton, Pennsylvania.

The latest expansion means the carrier reaches around 200 million phone users with a peak download speed of 21 Mbps – with plans to double the network speed this year as well as launch another 25 4G phones, tablets and other mobile devices.

Right now the fastest phones available for T-Mobile – in terms of both processing power and download speeds – are the just launched G2x and the acclaimed Samsung Galaxy S 4G.
