Upcoming T-Mobile Phones – 5 New Devices

T-Mobile has a slew of new 4G phones due to launch in the run up to the holiday season. There are two big dates to look out for – November 2nd and November 9th.

Nov 9th will be a big day for T-Mobile BlackBerry fans when the BlackBerry Torch – up to now an AT&T exclusive – will be coming to T-Mobile stores. No word yet on the price.

November 2nd, meanwhile, will see a the carrier launching a number of new 4G phones. First up two new devices from LG, the T-Mobile myTouch and the T-Mobile myTouch Q. Not much is known about these two in terms of specs but they’re reported to come with 1GHz processors and 5 megapixel cameras. They’ll also have the standard slide-out physical QWERTY keyboards of the rest of the myTouch range.

Prices for the new myTouch phones will be around $129.99 on contract.

The same day has also been confirmed as the launch date for the HTC Radar 4G, a new Windows 4G phone coming with Windows Phone 7.5. Expected price is around $199, for that you’ll be getting a 3.8 inch LCD display, 1GHz single-core Snapdragon processor plus a 5 megapixel.

Windows phones are currently receiving a free OTA upgrade meaning the existing range of T-Mobile Windows phones, like the HD7, will soon be running the new version too.

Finally for that day, there’s the LG Flip II – another QWERTY slider with an expected price of $149 – and the Samsung Ancora, which seems shrouded in secrecy at the moment but it’s likely to be a mid-price 4G phone with similar specs to the already available Samsung Exhibit.

The Exhibit II 4G, BTW, is also due to hit the shelves of T-Mobile over the next few weeks. It’ll come with a 3.7-inch display, single-core 1.4GHz processor with Android 2.3 and the usual Samsung TouchWiz UI.

The Exhibit II will have two cameras, the main rear one being a 5 megapixel / 720p HD device. The launch date isn’t yet known but it’s highly likely to arrive in time for the holiday season. Price will $99.99.
