A leaked roadmap of upcoming Verizon 4G phones and devices makes interesting reading for anyone thinking of buying a 4G phone over the next month or two.

For a start the document confirms that the hotly anticipated Motorola DROID Bionic will launch on September 8th. With the DROID Bionic launch date confirmed and the DROID Bionic specs already released by Motorola, we’re just waiting to see how much the phone will cost.

(Update: The Bionic is now in stores and costs $299 at Verizon, $180 at Amazon).

Next on the list of upcoming Verizon phones comes the Samsung Stratosphere which looks like the Android 4G replacement for the Samsung Fascinate.

The third new Verizon cell phone due on September 8th is the BlackBerry Curve 9370. Not much is known about this new model except that it’s possible it’ll be the first BlackBerry 4G phone.

In terms of tablets, September 8th will also see the launch of the new Motorola XOOM 4G as well as the start of the upgrade process allowing owners of the current XOOM to use the 4G network.

There’s also mention of the Samsung Galaxy Tab P8 launching in November which is probably a Verizon version of the Galaxy Tab.

The leaked roadmap also reveals two new 4G phones scheduled for launch in October – the HTC Vigor and the LG Revolution 2 (due out October 20th). The Vigor is a phone that a lot of people have been looking forward to. Rumored to have a 1280×720 display and 1.5GHz processor it’s due to launch on October 5th as a possible replacement for the much-loved Thunderbolt.

While there’s no mention of the Samung Galaxy S II, a.k.a. the Best-Selling Phone in the World Right Now, that’s almost certainly because it’s will already have launched on Verizon by the time we get to September.
